Jake Hawkins

Lead Wilderness Survival Instructor & NOLS Certified WFR

Jake Hawkins brings over 15 years of experience in wilderness survival and outdoor education. A former SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) instructor for the US military, Jake's practical knowledge is matched only by his passion for teaching. He holds advanced certifications in Wilderness First Responder (WFR) from NOLS and is certified in Leave No Trace principles. His teaching philosophy emphasizes hands-on, scenario-based learning, empowering students to build confidence through practical application rather than just theory. When not instructing, Jake can be found exploring the remote corners of New Hampshire with his trusty German Shepherd, Aspen.
